In 2021 the Protestant Theological Institute of Cluj-Napoca will participate again in the external institutional evaluation (due every five years). During this re-evaluation an official commission appointed by the Romanian Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ARACIS) will carry out a detailed external assessment of the institution and its undergraduate programme (BA). The Agency will evaluate the period 2016-2020 from the point of view of institutional management, economic and financial processes, teaching and learning processes, aspects related to scientific research and quality assurance.

To this end, the PTI has prepared an Institutional Self-Assessment Report and an Undergraduate Programme Self-Assessment Report. The student body has also produced a short report assessing the processes within the institution from the students' perspective.

The two self-evaluation reports, submitted on 1 July 2021 to ARACIS, are public documents and are accessible at this link. The 100 annexes related to the self-assessment reports (and the more than 200 files with detailed analyses, supporting documents, addenda, etc.) are available only to authorised persons.

An official visit of the Quality Assessment Board of ARACIS is expected to take place during the second half of 2021.
