The Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education in Romania has decided: the accreditation is granted!
At its meeting on 28 December 2021, the Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education in Romania (ARACIS) awarded the Protestant Theological Institute of Cluj-Napoca an "outstanding" rating (grad de încredere ridicat).
At this meeting, the accreditation of the whole institution and the evaluation of the bachelor's degree (Protestant Pastoral Studies) were on the agenda. The external evaluation confirms and recognises the quality of the work carried out in the institution and guarantees the legal operation of the educational institution for another five-year period.
According to European standards, once in every five year all higher education institutions, as well as the training programmes offered by these institutions undergo an external quality evaluation process. The Protestant Theological Institute was scrutinized by a commission of seven members in the period 23-26 November 2021.
The visit of the ARACIS commission was preceded by the compilation of the institution's self-evaluation report. The external evaluation committee examined the entire functioning of the institution, including its departments, administrative processes, teaching, education, research, quality assurance activities and procedures. In addition, the form, organisation and content of the BA training were evaluated.
The Protestant Theological Institute was awarded the highest rating by the external evaluation committee.
