A bibliai szerzők Egyiptom mellett leggyakrabban annak déli szomszédját, Kús földjét emlegetik. Kús földje és népe a maga etnikai és földrajzi sajátosságaival belső Afrika egzotikus világát jelképezte a Kánaán térségében élő emberek számára. |
