Cursul explorează Evanghelia după Ioan, Faptele Apostolilor și epistolele pauline timpurii (1–2 Tesaloniceni, 1–2 Corinteni) din perspectivă literară, teologică și introductivă. Sunt prezentate contextul apariției scrierilor, destinatarii, caracteristicile autorului, structura și principalele teme teologice, oferind astfel baza pentru studiul exegezei și al teologiei Noului Testament.

At the Introduction to the New Testament II course we present the literary history (author, addressee, where, when and the circumstances in which they were written, the reason for why they were written, the literary unity and their structure) of the gospel according to John, of the Acts of the Apostles and of the early letters of Paul written to the congregation (1,2 Tessalonians, 1,2 Corinthians), their main content, the most representative theological themes and motifs.
A kurzus bemutatja a János evangéliuma, az Apostolok cselekedetei, valamint Pál korai levelei – 1Thessz, 2Thessz, 1Kor és 2Kor – keletkezésének körülményeit, szerkezeti sajátosságait, valamint főbb teológiai motívumait, és megalapozza a mélyebb teológiai elemzés művelését.
