Pe parcursul cursurilor, prin exerciții și prin pocesul de învățare studenții să facă cunoștință cu bazele gramaticii ebraice, cu gândirea acestei limbi, să însușească un fond principal de cuvinte, scopul acestora fiind realizarea analizei morfologice și traducerea unor secvențe de texte biblice.
Limba ebraică este cea mai importantă limbă originală a Vechiului Testament. În cursurile oferite candidaţii vor avea posibilitatea să înveţe noţiunile de bază a acestei limbi. După învăţarea technicilor de scriere şi de citire, prin aprofundatrea în gramatica ebraică şi prin crearea unui vocabular de bază, studenţii se vor familiariza şi cu modul de gândire al Vechiului Testament.
